Dr. Michael Azrolan was educated at the New York University College of Dentistry and continued his post-graduate training after attaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Azrolan has always had and continues to have a passion for academics. He has served as a Senior Clinical Assistant at the Mount Sinai Department of Dentistry. He has held the position of Assistant Professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Azrolan also served as the dental consultant to the North Shore-LIJ Kidney Transplant team. At present, Dr. Azrolan is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at New York University College of Dentistry. If Dr. Azrolan is not teaching, he is taking courses in the latest advances in dentistry. Along with his passion for shaping and educating the next generation of dentists, he is also involved in a research study with NYU that involves phobic patients utilizing virtual reality.
As the Director of Flower Dental, a multi-specialty group practice, Dr. Azrolan worked with a team of specialists to custom design his new state-of-the-art facility with the most advanced technology. This technology has enabled his team to deliver to his patients the highest quality of dental care. Dr. Azrolan holds numerous professional affiliations including the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Azrolan has spent most of his life in Long Island. He is married and has one son who is currently enrolled in dental school working towards his D.M.D. degree. In his free time, he loves to seek out and try new local restaurants.
